A SINGLE mum fraudulently collected nearly £2,000 in benefits while she worked at Burnham Holiday Village, a court heard this week (Monday).
Kate Thorne, 21, escaped with a 12-month community rehabilitation order (CRO) after Bridgwater magistrates decided against sending her to prison - despite a similar offence that she committed in Taunton Deane.
