Minehead have been knocked off the top of Division One despite winning by six wickets at home to local rivals Wellington.

In a game reduced to 35-overs-a-side, Wellington won the toss and opted to bat with openers Rob Moysey and Mark Salter putting on 50.

Moysey (46) and Richard das Neves (40) then added 63 with late knocks from Thom Trott (21no) and Stuart Currall (16) taking them to 158-5. Matt Sully took 3-36 for the Seasiders.

Andy Stevens was run out early in Minehead's reply, but Hadleigh Cameron and Stuart Tudball put their side firmly on top with a stand of 123 in quick time.

Tudball eventually went for 44 but Cameron stood firm to finish on a superb 90 not out to guide the side home in just 25.3 overs.

But with Minehead able to take just 30 points and Ilton gaining 35 from their win at home to Butleigh the South Somerset side take a four-point lead at the top.
