The Carn Brea Parish Trail, which covers the areas of Pool and Illogan Highway, has been officially launched at Carn Brea Leisure Centre, Pool, with a sign to mark the start of the route.
Leaflets have also been sent to every household in the district.
Sue Parker, clerk to Carn Brea parish council, said: "It was just so that everybody locally could know about it."
The two trails cover places of interest in the areas, including the Trevithick Memorial, the Blowinghouse Toll House and St Euny Well.
