ONE of the longest running businesses in Chard is being forced to close as patterns in shopping continue to change.
Speciality shop Long and Bartlett, regarded by many as an institution in the town, is having to say goodbye to a number of loyal customers because it can no longer compete with larger chain stores in bigger towns.
