A Porthleven man has challenged harbour owner Trevor Osborne to allay residents' concerns over the deteriorating state of the port.
Mick Patterson, of Ocean Crescent, was speaking out in the wake of a visual protest mounted last weekend by local artist Peter Kacinas in a bid to draw attention to the neglected state of the harbour.
Mr Kacinas was fined £80 for his trouble and his behaviour condemned as "outrageous" by Mr Osborne, who is responsible for the up-keep of the harbour.
Mr Patterson said this week that although he did not support Mr Kacinas' actions, he approved of the sentiment behind the protest.
He said: "Mr Osborne may have been outraged, but I think there are a lot of people in Porthleven who feel a sense of outrage at the state of the harbour. It is falling apart at the seams.
