THE continued closure of the fairground car park in Helston is causing a headache for the organiser of the town's carnival on September 3.
The carnival parade usually ends at the car park but with the site fenced off, and the nearby cattle market car park busy with other harvest fair activities, there is nowhere for the floats to stop safely.
Carnival organiser Sue Atkinson said she was working with the town marshals and the police in a bid to resolve the issue.
