SPEED gun traffic checks are starting in Blagdon Hill in a bid to make the village safer.
Specially-trained volunteers, backed by police, will operate the speed guns and information about the speed checks has been posted at both ends of the village.
Speed gun readings will be checked by the police and, where necessary, legal action taken against offenders.
