A TAUNTON nurse is suing an American pharmaceutical giant over allegations that its drugs caused a dramatic physical collapse which saw her hospitalised.
And Maria Taylor's solicitor says there could be "thousands" more people in the West Country with similar claims.
Maria, 36, began taking the anti-inflammatory drug Vioxx in 2002 to combat joint pain, but later developed a range of debilitating stroke symptoms, including facial palsy and loss of feeling in her left arm and leg.
