AN employee at Butlins in Minehead was expected back at work today (Thursday) after being overcome by fumes from a cleaning fluid on Sunday.

A spokesman for Butlins said an internal inquiry was being carried out.

The worker, who has not been named, was given hospital treatment, and firefighters were called in to ventilate the area as a precaution.

The spokesman said: "The inquiry is being held to establish exactly what happened, and if the cleaning fluid was to blame."
