A DUCK race was just one of the events enjoyed by visitors to Dowlish Wake Festival at the weekend. The two days of fun included a fancy dress parade, sports and rounders afternoon, and several competitions.
The ducks opened events, and a dam was built and quickly removed on the village stream to give the entries a flying start.
