Minehead have moved back to the top of Division One in the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset League as the title race took another twist on Saturday.

Their 109-run win away to Evercreech and Ilton's exciting tie at Wellington means the Seasiders now lead the division by nine points

Andy Stevens played the major innings for Minehead, smashing an excellent 131 to help the side to 289-6 batting first at Evercreech's Queen's Road ground.

Skipper Andy Dyer chipped in with 40, while Stuart Tudball and Greg Howard both made 29.

Minehead's leading wicket-taker Keith Graddon once again led the way with the ball, taking 5-45, as the hosts were bowled out for 180 in the 37th over.
