CHARD residents will be consulted before a major South Somerset Homes development goes ahead, the association has said.
Tenants of South Somerset Homes properties in Montague Way and Beckington Crescent are upset after finding out they could soon be rehomed.
But the association says plans for the demolition of existing properties and building of new homes are "in the very early stages" and residents will be properly consulted before any work begins.
