A TAUNTON airman shot down over Germany during the Second World War is finally being laid to rest today (Thursday) - 61 years after he died.
Sgt Norman Leslie Cooper (pictured) was a navigator on the Halifax LW430 when it was one of 72 bombers downed during a raid on Berlin on March 24, 1944.
