Truro have plenty to do if they want to finish as runners up to St Just in this season's Jolly's Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League.
They must first see off the challenge of fourth placed Camborne, who visit Boscawen Park on Sunday at 1pm for the final game of the season. Even if they do so they will need Werrington to drop at least a couple of points in their visit to Falmouth, also on Sunday.
Truro slipped to third spot, below the North Cornwall club, after a 28-run defeat at home to champions St Just on Saturday.
Truro were without Ben Price, Ryan Driver and Adam Barber while St Just missed skipper Gareth May and Neil Curnow.
Batting first St Just hit a massive 305-3 in their 50 overs with David Roberts and Darren Cudby sharing a stand of 203 for the first wicket. Roberts was first to go lbw to Tom Sharp for 107. New Zealander Cudby followed soon after having made 113. Nigel Smitheram was bowled by Sharp for five. With Graham Trenwith promoted up the order making 49 not out and Mark George 15 not out the visitors passed the 300 mark. Sharp took two for 88.
