A 14-YEAR-OLD girl has been arrested after a Portuguese-owned cafe in Chard had its window smashed in the early hours of last Wednesday.
The girl, who comes from Yeovil and cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Friday and has been charged with racially aggravated criminal damage.
She has also been charged with criminal damage for damaging a police cell and is due to appear before South Somerset Youth Court next Wednesday, September 14.
