AN Ilminster woman has spoken of her pride after her son hatched an ingenious idea to raise money for charity.
At his recent wedding, James Reed, son of Jenny Reed, of The Butts, held a sweepstake for guests to guess the length of his best man's speech.
The £63.75 raised will go to St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, the charity which cared for James' stepfather David during the final days of his life.
