PLANS to build a bridge between two Ilminster housing estates have incurred the wrath of residents.
Somerset County Council's environment department has submitted long-awaited plans for a bridge linking Summerland Park Drive and Greendale.
The council believes the move will encourage more people to abandon their cars in favour of walking or cycling through the town, but some residents are angry at the likely increase in activity near their homes if the scheme gains approval.
