SOMERSET County Council is bracing itself for a storm of protest if it goes ahead with cash-saving proposals to cut opening hours at household waste disposal centres.
The authority is looking at saving around £100,000 by closing sites - including one at Priorswood - earlier in the summer evenings.
But a report to environment scrutiny sub-committee warns of a series of problems if the changes come in.
