PLANS to put West Somerset car park attendants in new uniforms have been unveiled this week.
The move, made public at a meeting of West Somerset District Council's cabinet is part of controversial proposals to bring in on-street parking in Minehead and other areas, and equip attendants with hand-held computers for monitoring car park usage and issuing excess charge tickets.
