AN exhibition of arts and crafts from the Blackdown Hills was displayed at Clayhidon Village Hall on Saturday (September 3).
It was organised by Rosemary Jones to raise awareness and support for the Blackdowns Support Group.
The charity helps young and old in need of extra help when suffering from accidents, disabilities or advancing years.
Volunteers provide someone to chat to, help with shopping, respite for carers, toenail cutting, lunch and tea clubs, transport to appointments, short-term loan of wheelchairs and other equipment, a library and escorts.
Saturday's event raised £257, work by more than 14 people was on display, from jewellery and pottery, to rocking chairs, plus a display from the Clayhidon Art Group.
