THE body of the 14th Royal Marine from 40 Commando to die during the current tour of Afghanistan was flown home yesterday.
A private service was held at RAF Lyneham after the coffin of Marine Adam Brown, 25, arrived at the base.
It was then driven through the nearby town of Wootton Bassett, where hundreds of mourners lined the street.
Marine Brown, from Burtle, near Glastonbury, was killed in an explosion near his patrol base in Sangin, Helmand Province, on Sunday.
