Taunton MP Jeremy Browne has responded to the Chancellor's Spending Review statement.
He said: "The government is borrowing an extra £450 million every single day.
"That is completely unsustainable we need to get Britain's debt under control.
"That is why the government is taking the difficult decisions to get our economy back on its feet. If we duck the need to make tough choices our debt will get even worse.
"But there are still positive developments. The government is increasing NHS spending and protecting school budgets. These are the right priorities which will benefit people across Taunton Deane."
