SOMERSET is due to find itself in the national spotlight tomorrow morning for all the wrong reasons.

BBC Breakfast is featuring the proposed cuts by Somerset County Council, saying it is the only authority of its type to pull all its arts funding.

The director of the Brewhouse Theatre, Robert Miles, was interviewed for the programme on Tuesday.

The theatre is due to lose its Somerset County Council funding from April.

Mr Miles has said that SCC's move could prompt other funding agencies to follow suit.
