THOUSANDS of people preparing to watch local Royal Marines march through Taunton tomorrow are hoping the weather forecasters have got it wrong.
Members of 40 Commando are taking part in their homecoming parade following six months in Afghanistan with a march through the town centre - and it's predicted to be wet and windy.
The march sets off from Station Road at 11am, making its way to the town centre, where an inspection will take place.
Afterwards, the Marines and their families will enjoy a private fun afternoon at the County Ground.
Today the troops are receving their campaign medals at a ceremony at their Norton Manor Camp base.
