A GROUP of former Somerset College of Art students are holding an exhibition of their current work 50 years after leaving the college.
The group, who left the college in 1967, will exhibit at Neroche Hall, just outside Taunton from today (Thursday).
Ex-student Tony Girardot, who is holding the expo, said: “The Neroche art-expo snowballed from a back garden private exhibition to a full blown exhibition with more than 100 artworks.”
Artists exhibiting are Jenny Barron, Graham and Jenny George, Rosie Schneider, Brian Sweet, Mike Tarr, Angela Wood, Nancy Wells and Tony Girardot.
Entry is free and there will be an opportunity to win the artwork ‘Damien Hirst, Diamond Geezer’ in a free draw. The exhibit runs until Sunday (August 12).
