BANK workers have shown their green fingers by doing gardening for Taunton Association for the Homeless.
Six staff from Lloyds TSB Commercial did weeding and tidying up at Lindley House and Norie House in the East Reach area.
It was part of the Give and Gain Day initiative, run by Business in the Community, in which workers spend time volunteering to help charities and community organisations.
TAH chief executive John Shipley said: “The properties we maintain in order to give the homeless somewhere to stay have communal areas and gardens but it isn’t always possible to keep these as neat and tidy as we’d like.
“The support provided by the Lloyds TSB Commercial team was a great help and made sure the grounds are now in great shape.”
