PEOPLE in West Somerset will be able to have their say on proposed changes to how council tax benefit is granted.
The current national scheme will stop on March 31, 2013 and it will be up to local authorities from the following day to implement a new method for providing council tax support.
West Somerset Council is looking for feedback on its newly-designed scheme. Forms are available from the council offices in Williton and customer centre in Minehead or online at www.somersetconsults.org.uk/consult.ti/CTWS/answerQuestionnaire?qid=1722307 until October 4.
Consultation events will also take place at the Williton council offices tomorrow (August 21) at 11.30am and at Minehead Methodist Church in The Avenue on Thursday (August 23) at 6pm.
