A MAN who uses his experience of climbing Mount Everest to promote the values of personal inspiration and practical leadership will give a talk at Somerset County Cricket Club on Wednesday, September 5 at 7pm.
Ian was born in England but spent 22 years in South Africa before returning to the UK.
Before embarking on his Everest expeditions Ian worked as a school teacher, an internal auditor, a restaurant owner and head chef, as well as serving as an officer in the British Army.
He now works as a conference speaker using his Mount Everest experience to promote the values of personal inspiration and practical leadership.
Using the power of emotional storytelling, Ian brings the triumphs and tragedies of climbing Mount Everest directly to his audience in a funny, poignant story of personal inspiration and practical leadership.
A hot-fork buffet will be provided with this event.
Tickets cost £17.50 for members and £25 for non-members.
