Hillfarrance villagers splash out on garden furniture
HILLFARRANCE villagers attended a social event in the church to discover how the £2,000 proceeds of their open gardens event in June will be spent.
The village now has a marquee, while funds have been set aside for grass verges, commemorative plaques beside the oak tree, which also has a new circular bench donated by a villager, and church projects.
The remainder, a cheque for £500, was presented to Help for Heroes.
