FROM Wednesday, September 19, to Thursday, March 14, the Brewhouse will again host a series of classical concerts by some of the industry’s finest musicians.

The series begins with acclaimed pianist Melvyn Tan on Wednesday, September 19, at 7.45pm.

Originating from Singapore, Tan moved to London to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Royal College of Music.

Tickets cost £15 to £20 with concessions.

On Thursday, November 22 at 7.45pm, the Rhodes Piano Trio bring their talent and experience to the Brewhouse stage.

Formed in 2003 at the Royal Northern College of Music, the trio went on to win all of the RNCM’s major chamber music prizes.

In 2010 they were selected for representation by the Young Classical Artists Trust.

Tickets cost £12 to £15 with concessions available.

The series returns on Wednesday, February 13 at 7.45pm with Catrin Finch, the former Royal Harpist to the Prince of Wales.

Finch was inspired to learn the harp aged five and achieved the highest mark in the UK for her grade VIII exam at nine years old demonstrating exceptional talent from a young age.

She has collaborated with composers Karl Jenkins, John Rutter and Howard Goodall and performed with Welsh bass-baritone, Bryn Terfel.

Tickets cost £13.50 to £18.50 with concessions.

To close the season on Thursday, March 14 at 7.45pm is Guy Johnston and the Navarra Quartet.

Named the leading British cellist of his generation, Johnston collaborates with the award-winning Navarra Quartet who won the Outstanding Young Artist Award in 2008 at the MIDEM Classique Awards in Cannes.
