WATCHET Music Festival organisers are delighted that the event has been nominated for national awards.
It is in three categories of The UK Festival Awards 2012 – best small festival, best family festival and for the grass roots festival award.
Mark Bale, chairman of Watchet LIVE, which organises the event, said: “We are really pleased. We didn’t set out to be nominated for awards when we started it, we just did it to bring a festival to West Somerset, but to get this recognition is fantastic.”
Voting is taking place at www.festivalawards.com/vote until October 31.
The awards will be presented at The Roundhouse in London on December 3.
Early bird tickets for next year’s festival, which Dreadzone are booked to
