MIDDLE aged men are being encouraged not to bottle things up in a campaign by The Samaritans.
The initiative by the charity, which has offices in Wood Street, aims to encourage men with stress to do something about it before it gets serious.
Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne called by to find out more about the latest work, and said:
“The Samaritans are a remarkable organisation providing counselling and support to people in distress, and can be contacted round the clock by phone or email.
“Men are notorious for concealing their mental stress until it has become very serious.
“No-one should bottle up their feelings and anyone can contact the Samaritans at any time.”
Taunton Samaritans have almost 100 volunteers – if you would like to help contact the local office.
