Christopher Walken and Stephen Merchant will star in the BBC's new comedy-drama series The Outlaws, which begins airing on Monday.
It follows seven people undertaking community service in Bristol, who form unlikely friendships as their private lives intersect.
The group is then forced to unite in order to protect one of their own from Bristol’s most dangerous criminal gang.
Oscar-winning actor Walken will take on his first leading role in a British TV show, which is written and directed by Merchant.
Production was delayed slightly in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and Merchant was asked to write a second series whilst they waited for filming to be allowed to resume.
This was then filmed back-to-back with the first series.
