An episode summary on the Radio Times read: "The teams face set out on the final leg to reach the finish line in Tromso and have to make the decision to take the more direct route with expensive public transport or venture east via the Baltic states passing through five countries.
"Race leaders Billy and Bonny Monger have a huge decision to make and Alex Beresford fulfils a childhood dream in Lapland. Mel and Helene Blatt have squeezed their budget to within an inch of its life and Harry and Emma Judd share a special moment while fishing in the fjords of Norway."
Here's who ended up emerging as the winners in the first celebrity series of Race Across the World.
Who won Celebrity Race Across the World 2023?
The final episode started off with a surprise as Billy and Bonny exited the race at the final stage due to a family emergency back home.
Following that the three remaining duos set off for Tromso, with the final leg from Berlin to Norway being around 2,000km to travel.
In a nail-biting finish, including travelling on a cable car, Alex Beresford and his dad, Noel ended up being the first to sign their name in the book at the end.
Alex described it as the "toughest experience he's ever had" but at the same time "unforgettable" and something he would cherish for the rest of his life.
Harry Judd and his mum, Emma came in second place just four minutes behind whilst Mel Blatt and her mum, Helene were in third.
