SOMERSET is currently in the grips of the UK's third storm in less than a week.
There is a yellow wind warning in place for the county.
Storm Franklin is expected to blow itself out this morning (Monday, February 21).
And we've got a generally dry, bright afternoon to look forward to, with temperatures reaching around 11degs C.
But we can expected some pretty windy weather for the rest of the week.
Storm Franklin follows the devastation caused in Somerset by Storm Eunice at the end of last week, with Storm Delta hitting other areas of the country.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A YELLOW WIND WARNING.
- Some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, could happen, along with trees/branches being brought down.
- Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible
- Some roads and bridges may close.
- Power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
- Injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
