POLICE have published details of two motorists seemingly breaking the law on a stretch of road notorious for "serious collisions".
In one incident on a single lane section of the A303 on Saturday (February 26), a car was recorded doing 100mph in a 60mph zone.
To make matters worse, when officers pulled the SUV over, they discovered there were two children in the car.
The driver is being reported to the courts for further action.
In the other incident, a motorcyclist driving at "excess speed" was recorded overtaking a car on a double white line.
The rider was issued with a Traffic Offence Report notice.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police's roads policing unit said: "Very poor driving.
"This is what makes risky roads dangerous.
"Too many serious collisions on these stretches."
