A TAUNTON man has been banned from driving for six months after being caught behind the wheel without insurance.
Dominic James Knight, 23, was pulled over for the offence in Patchway, Bristol, on February 22 last year.
He pleaded guilty at Taunton Magistrates' Court and was handed six penalty points on his licence, leading to the ban for "repeat offending".
Knight was also fined £441 and ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
ALSO receiving a six-month driving ban was David Miguel Duarte, 34, of Henson Park, Chard.
He admitted driving without insurance in Ottery St Mary on April 1 this year.
He was fined £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Duarte received no separate penalty for driving without the correct licence.
