THE presentation Evening for The Fullstop Fire and Security sponsored Taunton and District Youth Cricket League recently took place at Taunton Rugby Club, writes Richard Walsh.

In excess of 150 boys, girls,  parents and supporters were attended the evening which turned out to be an entertaining and enjoyable cricketing occasion.

The guest of honour at the evening was former Somerset cricketer James Hildreth who retired at the end of the 2022 season after a 20 year career with the county during which he scored in excess of 28,000 runs in all formats and included 54 centuries and a best of 303 not out.
