TAUNTON swimmer Caroline Faithfull swept up at the British Downsyndrome Swimming Championships last week.
She picked up three gold medals, two silver and one bronze at the competition held at the K2 Arena in Crawley.
Her gold medals came in the 1500metre freestyle event as well as the 800metre freestyle and the 400metre.
In terms of silver medals, they came in the 100 metre and 200 metre backstroke, and the bronze was in the 200 metre freestyle.
It just goes to show her versatility in the pool as she was able to get medals in two different swimming strokes.
Caroline currently lives in South Petherton and trains at Taunton Deane Swimming Club.
She said after the Championships that she was very, very happy with her results, especially as in the 1500 metres mixed freestyle event she beat three of the four boys in the race.
Caroline will now be training hard for the next World Championship in Turkey in March 2024.
