Somerset trainer David Pipe will be taking part in National Horseracing week which returns for the fourth year in a row this September.
David Pipe’s yard, among others, is part of the 120 venues nationwide opening their doors to the public for free during the week, getting under way from September 7.
All the events are free to attend. The main aim of the week is to celebrate the nation’s racehorses and allow the public to witness first-hand the care, love, and attention that goes into looking after racehorses and the fantastic lives these magnificent animal’s lead.
Throughout the week there will also be several community events taking place. Trainers, jockeys and rehoming centres will be taking racehorses into the community (to schools, charities, afterschool clubs and more) and giving talks to children.
