Four Somerset yards will be taking part in National Racehorse Week this September.
From the 7-15 September, in an experience like no other, over 100 events across the country, including training yards, studs and retraining centres, will open their doors to the public to show what life as a racehorse is really like.
Trainers across the country, together with studs and retraining centres, will invite visitors to join them at a multitude of unique events running throughout the week, which are dedicated to showing the inner workings of some of horseracing’s most important settings and which demonstrate the love, nurture and attention that goes into caring for racehorses.
In Somerset, that includes Neil Mulholland, Harriet Dickin, David Pipe yards on September 14 and Philip Hobbs and Johnson White on September 7.
All events during the week are free to attend. Tickets can be booked via the National Racehorse Week website.
