TAUNTON Bowls Club celebrated their opening of the season on Saturday (April 20) at their venue at Vivary Park.
It was an enjoyable afternoon for all as they played their first outdoor game of the year in glorious sunshine.
After the bowls, the group enjoyed a cream tea and held a raffle to support fundraising efforts at the club this season.
A spokesperson from the club said: "It is great to have all our members back today to get going for the season ahead, luckily the weather has stayed dry for us as well.
"This club offers a real community feel and we welcome everyone and everyone.
"Hopefully 2024 brings a lot of success to all involved at Taunton Bowls Club."
The club welcomed back bowlers, both outdoor and indoor, and there was a real vibe of enthusiasm for the season ahead.
Taunton Bowling Club is always welcoming new bowlers and anyone interested in just giving the sport a try.
