HEAVY fixture congestion has seen the Premier Cup semi-final between Bridgwater Town and Taunton Town, scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, postponed.
The match will now be played on Tuesday, April 30, kick-off 7.45pm.
A spokesman for the Somerset FA said: "Due to the inclement weather this season both clubs, especially Bridgwater, face a huge backlog of rearranged games during April.
"This will on a number of occasions see matches on consecutive days and will put a considerable strain on both clubs, not least to their playing staff.
"The Premier Cup tie on the scheduled date would have only exacerbated this situation. Mindful of the exceptional circumstances we have given dispensation for the match to be rearranged."
The final remains scheduled for May 7.
