LATE pressure from the scrum saw Minehead Barbarians Under-12s snatch a 7-5 victory at North Petherton.
On a crisp autumnal day Minehead fielded many new players making their full match debuts after several weeks of training.
First half pressure from the hosts was absorbed by strong scrummaging, and Minehead were unlucky not to open the scoring by half time.
The second half saw the cold begin to affect handling, with both sides making frequent errors which fell to favour North Petherton and eventually their scrum half made a good break to open the scoring.
But strong pressure from Minehead saw Ben Lock eventually touch down with seconds to go and the conversion secured victory.
