YEOVIL Town striker Paddy Madden is reportedly on the brink of signing for League Two side Scunthorpe United.
Madden, 23, was placed on the transfer list after a fall-out with the Glovers and reports in Ireland suggest the two clubs have agreed a £300,000 fee for the striker.
The Republic of Ireland striker was the top scorer in League One during Yeovil's famous promotion season, but has only made nine appearances in the Championship, failing to find the net.
Madden joined Yeovil on a permanent deal in January 2013 following a loan deal from Carlisle.
He scored one of the Glovers' goals at Wembley in the play-off final against Brentford and received a call up to the Republic of Ireland squad in August 2013.
