YEOVIL Town striker Paddy Madden has joined Scunthorpe United for an 'undisclosed' fee.
The 23-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the League Two club.
Madden, a Republic of Ireland international, was transfer listed in November after falling out of favour at the Glovers.
During his time at Huish Park, the former Carlisle man made 44 appearances, scoring 23 goals, including the opener in the League One Play-off final against Brentford.
But since promotion to the Championship, Madden has only made nine league appearances and has failed to score.
Manager Gary Johnson told the club's official website: "I am as disappointed as anyone else that things haven't worked out this season for Paddy for whatever reason.
"These things happen in football and we all move on.
"I would like to thank Paddy for his service to our football club and we all wish him well for the future."
