TEAM Taunton Ladies remain unbeaten this season after another win on Sunday.
Taunton beat Millfield 5-1, to make it three wins in a row in The Aegon Team Tennis National League.
With wins already over Royal Berkshire (4-2), Virgin Active Gloucester (4-2) and now Millfield, Taunton are now top of the table.
Taunton took a 4-0 head start, winning all the singles matches.
Natalie Ayton beat Francesca Wilkes at one, 6-2 7-5. Number two Zoe Leach, beat Jemima Potter 6-2 6-1. Kate Brown at three pulled through a tough three setter against youngster Hannah Davies 6-7, 6-4, 6-2. And at four Claire Tresidder came through another close three setter 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
Leach and Brown then combined to win their doubles in straight sets 6-3 6-4.
Millfield brought in a strong doubles substitute to win the remaining match against Rachel Apsey and Claire Tresidder 6-3 6-1.
Taunton next face West Hants, Bournemouth, on May 11.
Taunton need to finish in the top three to stand a chance of making play offs for the national finals which features the top eight clubs in England and Wales.
