FORMER Somerset wicket-keeper and Kings College, Taunton pupil Jos Buttler looks set to make his Test debut on Sunday after being named in a 13-man squad for the third Test against India.
Buttler replaces Matt Prior, who has ruled himself out of the rest of the summer with an achilles injury.
The 23-year-old left Somerset at the end of last season to join Lancashire, in a bid to enhance his test claims - and following an impressive start to the season in domestic cricket, is now in line to make his debut at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, on Sunday.
The Somerset Academy product has already played 33 One Day Internationals for England, scoring 753 runs at an average of 32.73.
England trail India 1-0 in the five-match series after a 95-run defeat at Lords in the second Test.
