TAUNTON TOWN resume their Evo-Stik League campaign after a three week break when they entertain Evesham United at the Viridor Stadium today (3pm).
Apart from their Somerset Premier Cup tie at Keynsham Town last week, the Peacocks have been starved of competitive action since Larkhall Athletic were beaten at the Viridor Stadium on the first day of November.
That win cemented Town in fourth place in the table, a position that has not changed despite their recent lack of activity, and they will be hoping to keep things ticking along with another three points on Saturday against their Worcestershire visitors who lie just below the half way mark.
Taunton Town Under-18s who were due to play at Clevedon Town in the Somerset Floodlight Youth League yesterday evening saw their home game with Weston-super-Mare postponed last Thursday due to a waterlogged pitch. Their next game is a league clash at home to Gillingham Town next Thursday (November 27), kick-off 7.45pm.
