SATURDAY was Prizegiving Day at Taunton and Pickeridge and in the morning another full field took part in a Stableford played on main greens.
In Division One it was Kevin Pellow who took the first place with 44 points that included a hole in one.
Greg Hammond was second with 40 points and John Snell third one behind.
George Lee topped Division Two with 41 points, but it was a close run thing for the next places after two players returned with 39.
However following countback it was Stuart Ling who edged ahead of third placed Rob Allan.
Club captain Roger Nation won Division Three with 38 points, one ahead of second placed Mark Bradley with 37, while Roy Miller was third on 36.
Sunday’s Stableford was won by Steve Sloman with 38 points. Two players returned with 36 points, but after countback iit was Kevin Hancock who was second and Andy Taylor third, while Jonathan Street was fourth on 35.
The Midweek Medal was won by Jason Brock with net 68, Nick Larcombe edged into second place after countback put him ahead of Matt Bettridge when both returned with 71.
The Ladies Section Foursomes Stableford was won by Louise Worth and Rosie Spragg with 34points, two ahead of Vicky Davies and Jeanne Leader with 32.
Margaret Farley and Janet Smart were third with 31 points, while Lady Captain Jill Paul and Ali McGown were fourth with 30 on countback from Senga Westwater and Judy Powell.
Tuesday’s Ladies competition was reduced to eight holes and only eight pairs braved the elements. At the end it was Lennox Heath and Judy Powell who were the winners with 17 points.
The T&P Annual Prize Giving took place on Saturday evening when 200 members enjoyed a great evening celebrating the individual and team achievements in 2014.
Some of the highlights from a very successful year include: Club Champion – Will Parkman; SW U-16 Boys Champion – Kobe Adams; Somerset Girls Champion – Laura Herbert; PEG Smith Champion – Tom Sloman; T&P A team – Avalon League Division 1 Champions and Winners of the Champions of Champions end of season event; T&P Stags (B Team) – Avalon League Division 3 Champions; T&P Junior team – Somerset Junior League Champions.
